CCA FAME Monthly Meeting

1. Financials

   1. Treasurer's Report - Reviewed report

   2. ~$1,180 in teacher allocations

   3. Band $5,800

   4. Choir $8,740

   5. General ~$13,000

   6. Speech $33

   7. Uniform account $1000

   8. Scholarship recipients will be published to the Website by Lynette.

2. Fundraising

   1. Band - new uniforms will be purchased in November; will also have conversations about color guard purchases

2. Show Choir - Future opportunities? Mum sales in the past. Could we designate certain nights at Carver? New push to communicate show choir costs and encourage fundraising and volunteering (follow up with Brittany). The show choir might be leaning toward a direct request for funding.

3. Carver - Running background checks for future games. We need people’s names, addresses, email addresses, and birthdates to run the check. Is it a one-time thing, or do they check for each game for new people?  You can’t submit the night before kind of timeframe. Should be mentioned when soliciting people to support this fundraising. 

Curricular/Non-curricular Discussion

4. Band

   1. Freshman Lunch - Mon, August 4th - Lindsey will be charge; Lisa is available

5. Show Choir

   1. Lunch - Wed, August 13th Noon - 1pm JP & Lisa available

   2. Don’t have the same lunch for Band and Show Choir lunches as there are a lot of crossover

   3. Two choreographers will be there.. 

Events

Tuesday, August 19: Amana Elementary (Kelly), Clear Creek Elementary, North Bend Elementary, Tiffin Elementary (Lisa P) and Oak Hill Elementary from 4:00-6:00 pm

Thursday, August 21: East Ridge Elementary (Peg V) from 4:00-6:00 pm

Look for a donation form in the shared drive. 

** No meeting in July.  Will resume monthly meetings in August.
