Approval of Treasurer’s Report:  See at bottom of blog post.

  1. Financials

    1. Lynette to review Treasurer's Report

    2. Total Carver/Xtream = $19,384.63

      1. February sign up revised - CCA FAME: February 2025 Volunteers Needed - Aramark Concessions

    3. Why do we continue concessions with the large amount collected so far? To build up funds for more activities, larger purchases, and possibly add to the scholarship funds. ALL monies go to our district kids. The more we can earn now can help the organization when some of the "core" parents stop volunteering because their students have graduated or moved on.

    4. Fine Arts programs interested in funding for an activity or event beyond their own fundraising need to reach out the ccafame@gmail.com to discuss.

    5. Please remind art/band/choir instructors to use their allocation money ($300). Be sure to ask by April. A reminder email was sent. Example - MS band teacher purchased some snares with the money.

Fundraising

  1. Carver/Xtream Arena Update How do we get new people involved?

    1. Sign Up Genius - For Carver

    2. Can we send a reminder about volunteer opportunities into the school monthly update?  It’s been in the high school and middle school weekly email. Danielle volunteered to check with her contacts at elementary schools.

  2. Rayo's Baked Goods (Restaurant in North Liberty)

    1. Danielle – do we want to do a baked goods? (have buyers go to the restaurant to pick up or bring them to the school for distribution) the other idea is to have dine in night.

      1. For the baked goods night, do it on a concert night.

  3. Silent Auction Baskets, Spring Musical - JP - primary contact

    1. Consolidating material at his place. He’s planning to recruit donations this month and next.

    2. Reviewed the silent auction contributor file.

    3. Bring basket contents to JP’s place.

  4. Are we doing the mattress sale this year? We didn’t make that much last year (around $2k for Fri, and all day Saturday). We can revisit this next year.

  5. Another idea - preferred parking and preferred seats at the high school graduation.  Send an email requesting this to Tom Daniel and he will forward the right person. He doesn’t see an issue with this.

  6. Can we get a playoff game at the HS concession stand? Kurt will keep us posted.  Options - Sat Feb 22 (NOT AN OPTION FOR FAME), Mon Feb 24, and Thurs Feb 27
