CCA FAME Monthly Meeting

Treasurer’s Report:  See financials below

  1. Financials - Lynette to add

    1. Fund Highlights

      1. Band (non-uniform account):  $3533.12

      2. Show Choir (not including Carver):  $1609.11

      3. Speech:  -$677.04 (Choral Reading purchase;  Carver funds will replenish once finalized)

      4. Uniforms (Band):  $36,245.65

    2. Carver/Xtream Highlights

      1. Total earned through 11/20/2025 (includes 1 October date) = $4021.85

      2. General Fund:  $436.25

      3. Band/Band Uniforms:  $1489.94

      4. Jazz/Show Band:  $199.01 (need to separate this into 2 categories)

      5. Show Choir:  $1896.66

NOTE:  The Carver funds are held in the General Fund until all receipts for that month are deposited.  Once the final deposit is made for a month worked, the funds will be dispersed to the various funds:  art, band, musical, show choir, speech, etc.

  1. Senior Scholarship Funds

    1. Wrote for a community grant from Hills Bank

    2. Awarded $1,000 to apply to our Senior Scholarship Fund

    3. Goal for 2026:  3 Senior Scholarships:  $1500, $1000, $500

NOTE:  Senior Scholarship will be run by Lynette Williams.  Lindsey Downes will not be involved in the process.  Any questions or concerns about the Senior Scholarship should be directed to Lynette or asked during a CCA FAME meeting.

Scholarships will open at the beginning of February (or earlier) and will close mid to end March to provide enough time for judging and a result prior to the May Senior Awards Day (Friday, May 8, 2026, evening program)


Fundraising

  1. Band -

    1. Update on new uniforms: Cost is over $138,000…. $169,000

      1. The school has raised around a little under $4,000 so far. A lot of small donations. Chris will send business donations

      2. Raising Cane’s fundraiser =$450

      3. Do we have any updates on the district contributions? 

        1. There is not money in the general fund this year  to contribute  

    2. Top priority is the jackets. Were these able to be purchased? Where did the money come from?

      1. 164 jackets for $38,000  this takes all of the money we currently have

      2. 36 additional jackets are $8,496….could scale back to purchasing 11 additional jackets this year to fit next years band ...This gets us to 200 jackets

      3. Next priority is hat wraps - $11,000 for 175

      4. Gauntlets are next at $8267

    3. Band program might have funds remaining in their supplies budget to support some of the purchase at the end of the year.

    4. Update on Grants

      1. Optimist Club - $20,000 donation, plan to attend pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 14, 2026

      2. Washington County Riverboat grant - denied

      3. Aureon Grant (South Slope Grant) - $250…we think matched by South Slope to $500…waiting to hear.

  2. Fruit Sales-

    1. Profit: estimate ~~ $4,206 - Band Uniforms; $340 - General Fund

    2. Sign Up Genius for helping distribute fruit - FILLED

  3. Sugar Bottom Bakery Cookie Fundraiser - JP update

    1. $26 a dozen - we would receive $5.20 per dozen. Pick up at school at concession stand 4:30-6:30pm at December 15th band concert. Tied into the band uniform fundraiser. 107 dozen ordered!  

    2. JP would also like to look at a future order for Choir in the spring.

Update on Fall FAME Programming Grant:  Funding Middle School Instruments and Mallets for Mr. Corbiere

State Speech -  Feb. 7th  HELP NEEDED!!!

FAME Fine Arts Booster Club is a non-profit group committed to supporting education and activities in art, drama, speech, choir, and band for all Clear Creek Amana students, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Through our fundraising events and volunteer activities, we have been able to provide the district fine arts teachers with funds for needed supplies to enhance the fine art experiences offered to all CCA students.
