CCA FAME Monthly Meeting

Monday, Aug. 4th, 2025 · 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Treasurer’s Report:  

  1. Financials

    1. Treasurer's Report - Reviewed report

    2. ~$1,180 in teacher allocations

    3. Band: $5,800

    4. Choir: $4500

    5. Theatre: ~$4300 

    6. General: ~$13,000

    7. Speech: $33

    8. Uniform account: $000

AmpleX: $75/month…only bill that has been paid this fiscal year

Fundraising

  1. Band - Update on new uniforms: Cost is over $120,000

    1. Coordinator of Fundraiser(s): Copeland has reached out to a few families; hoping to have a person in place soon.

    2. Car Wash on Aug. 16th - all funds towards uniforms

      1. Oxford Depot, Theisen’s, LLPelling

      2. Treasurer (Lynette) will pick up money

      3. Students sign up starting 8/5/2025

    3. Parent Meeting - August 22nd - kick off for fundraising campaign, time TBD

    4. Communicate to 5th grade - High School; cost per uniform

    5. Add to newsletters


  1. Show Choir -

    1. Coordinator of Fundraiser: April Cartier & Peg Van Zante

    2. Mum Fundraiser - discussed at Picnic in the Park

    3. Friday, September 19th, pick-up time:  4-7 pm

    4. Lindsey will work on flyer

    5. $22 - pre-order; $25 - at the door; $27 - after on FB

    6. Bev and Bill trailer/Lindsey’s mom/dad

    7. Delivery option for $5 charge on Saturday, September 20th? - Approved

    8. April Cartier - send a reminder text to previous purchasers that Mum Sales are starting in a week

  2. Sponsorship/Membership Drive - Spread the word, see below for elementary and high school back to school nights.

    1. Keeping levels from last year - choose which activity - Balcony, Mezzanine, Orchestra

    2. Lindsey email Kurt to pick seats based on a sponsorship level

    3. Sponsor/Member to be eligible for Senior Scholarship OR Hours to volunteer to be eligible

    4. Lindsey message Booster Club contact about their scholarship/funding

  3. Carver - Running background checks for future games. We need people’s names, addresses, email addresses, and birthdates to run the check. Is it a one-time thing, or do they check for each game for new people?  You can’t submit the night before kind of timeframe. Should be mentioned when soliciting people to support this fundraising.

    2. Names submitted; no response about approval

  4. Fruit Sales?  Need to discuss with Mr. Copeland

    1. STRONGLY ENCOURAGE student/family participation

    2. Give warning to families/customers if not successful will cancel the following year

    3. Students can or cannot go door to door? - Mr. Daniel having a follow up meeting to clarify some fundraising

    4. Use paper form instead of website only; payment upon ordering

    5. Suggestion - replace this option with students performing in their chosen activity for a Birthday Message or other activity

  1. Band

    1. Update on Freshman Lunch

    2. JP, Lindsey, Noah served lunch; Madeline assisted with clean up

    2. Mr. Daniel or Mr. Macumber - ADD to Bound for the Custodians

ABOUT US

FAME Fine Arts Booster Club is a non-profit group committed to supporting education and activities in art, drama, speech, choir, and band for all Clear Creek Amana students, from kindergarten through 12th grade. Through our fundraising events and volunteer activities, we have been able to provide the district fine arts teachers with funds for needed supplies to enhance the fine art experiences offered to all CCA students.
